Have you ever wanted to go to an exotic fun place and visit?  If so, where would you want to go? Dubai?  Let me tell you a little bit about Dubai because I love learning of new places to go and visit.  Dubai is a colorful, modern desert city known for its music, arts and entertainment scenes. Fortunately, traveling to Dubai has never been easier and more fun. If you’re planning an upcoming trip, here are five things that you must do to get the full Dubai experience:BD_Complete_Nitelights_tcm62-12315

1) Head to the Top of Burj Khalifa

For the trip of a lifetime, take the world-famous lift to the top of the Burj Khalifa, which is the world’s tallest building. Built over six years from 2004 to 2010, the impressive, needle-shaped building boasts 160 stories and some of the world’s most magnificent views.

2) Charter Dubai Creek

Being a desert city, Dubai first began to nurture civilization on the banks of its main water source – Dubai Creek. Nowadays, this ancient waterway is chartered by traditional wooden water taxis that transport passengers along the historic channel and into Deria, Dubai’s main commercial center. Chartering a ride along the creek is a unique experience that allows visitors to understand the true origins of Dubai’s historic and colorful civilization.

3) Take a Walking Food Tour

1Dubai is a city that is known for its colorful food and ample dining establishment. Although the area boasts many fine restaurants, the adventurous traveler can get a taste of them all by taking a walking foodie tour guided by one of the area’s many adventure companies. These tours are up to four hours in length, and take visitors through the city to the hottest local dining spots. In addition to the great food, they also offer historical information, and are a great way to become acquainted with the city.

4) Enjoy Your Accommodations

The United Arab Emirates is known for its glitzy hotels and lavish accommodations, and no place does it better than Dubai. Visitors looking for hotels in Dubai can expect to find everything from rooms fit for a modern day prince at the Al Khaleej Palace Hotel or Traders Hotel Dubai to unique boutique hotels such as the Fortune Boutique Hotel which offers proximity to downtown as well as stunning Art Deco style.

5) Rent a Bike

Although Dubai boasts an extensive public transit system, visitors can get some exercise and see the sights by renting a bike from one of the area’s many bike kiosk stations. Once you’ve got the bike, do the downtown tour by riding along the coast on the Jumeirah Corniche, the area’s most popular cycling track, which takes visitors from Burj Al Arab to the famous Marine Beach Resort. I have several friends that have been to Dubai and I just love the pictures that flood my newsfeed when they are there.  It looks like a fun place to visit.  I will definitely be adding it to my list of places I want to see.

How about you? Would Dubai be on  your list knowing more about it?
