6 ways to wear a maxi dress to work + fabulous sandals made for comfort {#WorkwearWednesday}

When I was working my 9-5 job in commercial real estate, I worked FOR Friday. Not only was that the day before the weekend, but it was typically a more casual office environment for the day. That being said, I was always looking for new ways to spice up a casual outfit. I liked casual, but I didn’t want to be so casual that if a meeting popped up, I looked severely underdressed.

Many ways you can accomplish this look is by adding accessories. Add a gorgeous statement necklace, stack the pack on your wrist, spice is up with some fun shoes! In today’s look, I’m doing a little bit of it all! I received the pair of shoes that I’m sharing from Secret Celebrity, and I want to let you in on a secret, they are reasonably priced and SUPER, duper comfortable.

When added with the right outfit, they can look dressy (today’s outfit) or to see them a little more casual, check out my girlfriend Ellen at That Chic Mom. She’s sharing them in a casual way. So, let’s talk about the outfit. It’s actually a maxi dress. I don’t know about you, but sometimes, a maxi dress is a little too revealing for the office. And, sometimes you want to skip the cardigan. So, grab a denim/chambray top, like this one from Kohl’s, tie it at the bottom and you have another way to wear a maxi dress to the office.
