Becca’s Bunch is a new Nick Jr. series. It’s a pre-school comedy about a little bird who has a big heart. If you aren’t familiar with the show, HERE is a link to the adorable theme song and more videos. There is a cast of characters that your little ones will fall in love with such as Becca, Russell, Sylvia and Pedro. They demonstrate positive thinking, leadership and problem solving through each adventure!
We don’t have snow days in California, but I know much of the country has been experiencing a winter vortex. It’s nice to have an easy craft on hand to fill those days at home. We’ve had enough rainy days to give us cabin fever. Annabelle is 9 and she did a wonderful job putting together this craft. She even used a glue gun for the first time…with a bowl of ice water close by. You know that trick, right? You can dunk you fingers quickly if you accidentally get hot glue on them.
HERE are the directions to this sweet little craft. Hopefully you already have the materials on hand and you can print THIS template to cut out your own pieces of felt. I didn’t help Annabelle with this craft one bit because she’s going to be submitting it for a school competition. She did the whole thing with just a little verbal support. If you have a younger child you will most certainly want to help with the hot glue.
If you haven’t introduced your kids to Becca’s Bunch, look for it on Nick Jr. Please tag us (#thesimplemoms) if you make this craft. We would love to see your handiwork.
