Last week our school had Spirit Week. They really should plan Spirit Week earlier in the school year when creative juices are less depleted. Each day felt more difficult then the one before when it came to planning the next outfit for the given theme. We made it through Sports Day, Wacky Wednesday, and Super Hero day, but International Day always proves to be the most difficult. I think my oldest has gone as a cowboy the last 3 years. Pinterest didn’t prove to be as helpful as I hoped, but we did finally land on BREAD THEMED INTERNATIONAL outfits.
You can laugh. There’s a bag of Hawaiian rolls around Charlie’s neck. A Costco sized bag none the less. Jack is an English muffin. Feel free to save the English muffin graphic if you want to print your own and glue it to a random piece of cardboard. Last but not least is Annabelle as French Toast. I used a piece of cardboard and cut in in the shape of bread.
Do you have more then 3 children who need an International Day outfit? Keep going with the international food ideas. Pinterest does have some cute food themed costume ideas.
If you found this post in a mad search for an International Day Outfit, I hope it helps. Besides bread around their necks, I did try to subtly dress them to match their bread. Charlie’s shirt has a Hawaain vibe with pineapples. Jack has his most English looking bowtie. Annabelle’s outfit was an attempt to be a French mime.
I apologize that our Pinterest widget is down and we can’t easily pin from our posts at the moment. HERE is a link to pin this post if you would like to save it.

April 25, 2019 at 4:48 pmI AM laughing because those are really good–and funny!–ideas!! The Hawaiian Rolls wouldn’t make it through the day with our kids, though. Or with me, for that matter. They are delicious!
Hope they had fun!

April 26, 2019 at 1:10 pmI’m so glad my youngest is a good sport. We laughed a lot as his outfit came together. I told him he could share with his class, but the mashed bag of rolls came home. Amazing!
