I know December is here because the weather outside is frightful- our winter rain began in California. Also, our elf is back and our advent calendar. The calendar is a little different this year, not our usual Trader Joe’s chocolates hiding behind each door. It’s quite spectacular actually.
Jack pulled out his invisibility cloak to help with this review because it’s another Harry Potter themed item. It brings me joy to see my pre-teen light up over toys. It takes a special toy to bring out that big smile too. By the way, this cloak is on the Amazon must-have toy list this year and it really is an amazing toy!
This advent calendar features 24 items that are all Harry Potter themed. I peeked at a few of the drawers the box holds and I spotted plush toys, stickers, cards, ornaments, tags, and magnets to name a few things. Each day holds a different Harry Potter themed toy. Our 3 kids are taking turns and how perfect that 3 goes in to 24 just right! Phew.
I’m fascinated with the movement of the box. My dad actually owns a box factory and he was impressed when I showed it to him. It’s called an infinity calendar because the box keeps rotating within itself to reveal all the drawers of toys. It kind of blows my mind. It reminds me of the moving stairs at Hogwarts. The whole thing is printed beautifully and will appeal to Harry Potter fans for certain.
