a simple diy :: resin snowflake ornament :: christmas gift idea

I got a huge surprise from UPS today! Yes, a package from Counter Culture DIY…. I was going to wait closer to Christmas to post this, but decided I wanted to share it with y’all sooner so that you have a chance to make some yourself! This snowflake and Christmas tree duo would make great Christmas gifts! I will be sharing the Snowflake Ornament this week.This set would make the perfect teacher gift, and they are so simple to make. I also received some GLITTER in this package, and thought it would make the most beautiful snowflake with some extra iridescent glitter too!

Materials:

• CCDIY Christmas Ornament Molds
• CCDIY Glitter Sterling Snow
• CCDIY Resin Part A and B
• CCDIY White Snow Dispersion Color

My most favorite thing about Counter Culture DIY (CCDIY) products is that last for a long time.  I barely used any Sterling Snow for this project.

The process is the same as all my other resin projects.  Most important you must make sure to have equal amounts of Part A and Part B CCDIY Resin to complete any resin project.  I will say it can get a bit complicated with larger projects, but I can honestly say that I love everything I have made.

Really all I did was equal parts of A and B Resin and added in my GLITTER! The snowflake turned out gorgeous.  For those of you that are interested in trying resin make sure to check out my post Aloha Kit and E-Course Bundle from Counter Culture DIY.  I took this course to learn how to use resin and as you can tell from my posts this has been an simple process to learn and I am loving it!
