I don’t know what it is, but Spring time makes me smile. Maybe it’s the fact that our dull, brown Michigan grass starts to get bright and green and the beautiful flowers start budding. It might be the warmth and sunshine that starts taking over. Or it could be the change in my closet as well….from dark and wintery colors to warm and sunny colors. Who am I kidding, it’s ALL.OF.THE.ABOVE.
With Spring wardrobe changes comes simplicity in most of my jewelry choices as well. With all the running around I do in the spring for the sports my girls play, I typically grab a basic necklace and some power earrings. It’s easy to handle all the things with this combo. As you know all too well, for my earrings I’m always grabbing some Lovable Lobes! I just picked up three new pairs this week to bring with us on Spring Break as well as to add some fun to my jewelry collection.
Some of the most simple pieces in my jewelry armoire is from A-U Rate. I’ve shared them before and here I am again. What I really love about this quality, fine jewelry company though is far above the beautiful pieces they create. They believe in sustainable jewelry made with ethical gold and diamonds. Initial necklaces are still a staple when looking for something quick and easy to grab and wear for the day. They are dainty but say a lot. I sometimes will layer an initial necklace with another necklace to fill the neckline a little more. What I layer them with varies, but I am really liking chain necklaces these days!
Simple, statement necklaces are a must as well. I’m swooning over simple silver or gold ones like the one below!
I would be remiss if I didn’t mention some fabulous earrings. Sometimes a simple necklace and statement earring are just what the outfit ordered!
