It was seriously hard to choose a beret – all of her patterns are super unique and so intricate. I ultimately chose the Daisy Cutter because I love flowers. Plus, that teal color is just stunning. The yarn she uses is very soft and not even the least bit itchy. This is a beautiful piece.
What do you think? Is it “me”? Before receiving my gorgeous teal Daisy Cutter beret, I had never attempted to wear a beret. I realized when I tried to put it on that I had no clue how to wear one… check out my fashion skills! Once I played with it (and after I Googled “how to wear a beret”), I came up with 2 solid ways to wear it – one with my hair down, the other with my hair in a low messy bun. Sweet!
The best part about berets is that they stay on and keep you warm, but don’t give you “hat head” like beanies do! That’s so nice for work because I can be warm on the way in the car, and my hair isn’t all flat and messy when I reach the office!
Julie just added some adorable Valentine’s Day postcards to her Rotten Cupcakes shop! Order yours today and get them in the mail to your special valentines! She also has just listed original paintings of delicious looking cupcakes – but there are only two available, so hurry and snatch one up before it’s gone!
P.S. The posy pink and coral fang colored berets would be fantastic accessories for any girl’s Valentine’s Day outfit! my SIMPLE star rating :: 5 out of 5
