Even though it’s the middle of winter we are always ready for tasty frozen treats here at my house. When I originally saw that Zoku Quick Pop Makers I knew they’d be a big hit with my family and boy was I right!
We’ve been trying the Duo Quick Pop Maker and have been amazed at just how fast we can have a popsicle in any given flavor frozen and ready to eat. In as little as 7-9 minutes you can go from cooled liquid to frozen treat using the Quick Pop Maker!
If you’ve ever made your own popsicles the traditional way you know how great it is to control the ingredients that you’re making these treats for your family with, but there is a serious down time for them to actually freeze. The time between pouring the liquid into the mold and actually being able to consume your frozen treat is where Zoku’s Quick Pop Makers stands out!
We’ve mostly been using ours to make 100% fruit & vegetable juice pops for our girls. They love these treats and I love that I’m able to sneak extra healthy juice into them, but I’m also working my way through the Zoku Quick Pops Recipe Book.
With recipes for everything from a basic Strawberry Banana pop to the more complex Chocolate Coconut Cookie Mayhem, this recipe book is full of great ideas for pops. It also has what I’d call “Quick Pop 101” – illustrated instructions on how to make more complex pops, trouble-shooting ideas, decorating and ingredient tips, and other helpful tidbits.
Because the Quick Pop Maker must be thawed, cleaned, completely dried, and then refrozen for 24 hours before reuse again I’m seriously thinking about keeping two Duo Quick Pop Makers in our freezer. That way I can have them on a constant daily rotation making treats for my family every night (and sneaking those fruits & veggies into my girls).
And if you’re wondering, the Duo Quick Pop Maker can handle making up to 6 pop batches before it stops working (depending on the complexity of the pop and the temperature you froze the unit at) but you can also get a Quick Pop Maker Original with 3 pop slots or a Single Quick Pop Maker as well. my SIMPLE star rating :: 5 out of 5
