step2 :: play up adjustable sand & water table

Spring has sprung!  It’s official across the country!  What are you doing now to enjoy the warmer weather?  It has been irregularly warm here in Michigan and there are no complaints from me!

You all know by now, my kids and I LOVE Step2.  It is quite apparent I’m sure with the reviews that I have done over the last year or so.  You can see them HERE and then search Step2 in the search engine.

We had the opportunity to review the Play Up Adjustable Sand & Water Table.  I know what you might be thinking.  Sand AND Water Table?  Well I’m sure it was the same thing I was thinking…Sand + Water = Mush.  All I know is that the kids LOVE playing with it.  It is outdoor, so I do not care if the sand and water get mixed.  However, the sand and water don’t get mixed all the time.

The little boats that come with the set, the bridges, shovels, pails…it all comes together and it everything they need to have some fun outside.

My girls are always playing make believe together, and playing with this table was no different.  Pictured to the right, they were playing Field Trip to the beach.

I want to talk to you briefly about set up.  This table was a snap to put together.  I sat with camera in hand as my hubby put it together. 🙂  Total of maybe 5 minutes.  The umbrella is easily put up and put down. There is an elastic closure that keeps the top on. It isn’t like others where you simply place the top on the sand box, etc.Additionally, what makes this table SO great is the capabilities for it to last longer than an average play table.  It makes the investment in this toy more worth while.  It “grows” with the kids!  The red table legs can move up and down.  And if your backyard is like mine, the ground is not flat.  The leg lengths can work with uneven ground too!

I just had to share this picture too to show how much my girls really liked the table.  The day after we set up the table, my Adalynn dressed her self first thing in the morning, came out and asked to go play with her water.  It was so cute!  Definite winner!Check out this video of my kiddos playing with the new Play Up Adjustable Sand & Water Table:

Overall, fantastic table.  Highly recommend for kiddos!  With it now being Spring, it’s time to start thinking about getting outside and this is perfect for outdoor fun! my SIMPLE star rating :: 5 out of 5
