Wouldn’t you know it, but the Olympics are right around the corner. Time to watch the “games” and get involved in all the excitement. In years past, my Lili hasn’t really understood it very well. She has been too young. This year I think she is going to really enjoy it. However, my Adalynn may not as much. She probably won’t understand what’s going on. She will understand the games and people having fun, but not the competition behind it.
I was happy to see Team Umizoomi: Umigames show up in my mailbox the other day. It’s the perfect segway in to the upcoming Olympics.
Join Milli, Geo and Bot on four sports-themed math adventures in Team Umizoomi: Umigames. Preschoolers will learn many math skills, including counting, patterns, measurement, and more! Get in the Olympic spirit and don’t miss out on the Umi Team’s latest all new DVD.
Adalynn just LOVES Team Umizoomi. It is a cartoon that I don’t mind myself. There is learning, counting, shapes. Each episode gets my kids up and moving around as well as shouting out answers. It’s very interactive. It’s just overall fun learning. It says preschoolers and I think even younger will enjoy this.
