I have gotten to meet some of the coolest people since coming on to write for theSIMPLEmoms!
After writing a post about DIY elderberry syrup, the great people at Elderberry Life left some informative comments about elderberries, and then asked if I wanted to try some of their products…more elderberries?! Yes please!
Elderberry Life grows and harvests their own elderberries, and make all natural elderberry products. They are passionate about harvesting at peak berry ripeness and using quality ingredients in their elderberry products.I knew how antioxidant rich elderberries were, but I also learned from Elderberry Life that the berries contain powerful amounts of vitamins A, C, B-6, calcium, iron, and magnesium as well. That is huge in immune system support!
I was sent the sampler 6 pack including all of the juices, and their jam and jelly. The girls loved the jam and jelly on sourdough with their breakfast and peanut butter sandwich. The Elderberry Aide and Peach Juices were delicious cold. They are a little sweeter than we are used to but I enjoyed it 🙂 The Pure Elderberry Juice and Elderberry Herbal Cordial are meant to be diluted in water, favorite beverage, or sparkling water. I never thought to put elderberry syrup in sparkling water but it was so good! I put some of the herbal cordial in some plain yogurt for the girls and they liked that too.
