We have recently had a some BIG milestones events in our family. The most recent of which was my oldest daughter turning 5. Yep, a whole hand!

This year instead of coordinating a big party we planned a weekend away with some friends. With two kids celebrating the big “5” within weeks of each other we decided to celebrate these milestone birthdays with a low-key celebration one night.

This 24″x48″ vinyl banner was the perfect way to decorate for our ~~little~~ big birthday kids! Even though I forgot anything to hang the banner, the kids loved seeing their names on the sign! (Even more excitement when it became their makeshift table cloth.)

If you’re artistically inclined you can create your own banner from scratch, but for those of you like me who don’t have that particular skill there are a ton of great templates to choose from. Don’t worry about your banner being boring, each template is completely customizable!I created the banner on the right from the starting with the template on the left. It was easy to change fonts, colors, wording, and more! I am still amazed at how many things you can really customize for each banner to make it uniquely your own.
