As the mother of a child who has eczema winter in Michigan is my nemesis. There’s nothing I like less than when the temperature and air-humidity levels drop and the eczema flare ups increase.
In the past we’ve found a few things that work, but we’re always willing to try new products to help us effectively keep Miss M’s eczema under control.
We haven’t had anywhere near the journey Jennifer from The Eczema Company has had with her little guy, but I’m extremely thankful that she has taken the time to compile her favorite eczema products in The Eczema Company.
Miss M was excited to try some of the products from Lost River Naturals, their Eczema Ease Bath Tea and their Eczema Ease Balm (w/ Mango Butter).
The Eczema Ease Bath Tea is offered as two different versions, with or without salts. While we LOVED both versions, but whenever possible we will be using the with salt version (you can learn more about the ingredient lists and salt vs. no salt versions here). I learned a valuable lesson about gently wringing the tea bags on our first bath with them. Tip :: if you burst a bag you can use a mesh colander to strain out the larger pieces of floating herbs.
The Lost River Naturals Eczema Ease Balm (w/ Mango Butter) has quickly become part of our daily routine. Flare ups tend to increase at night for Miss M and I’ve noticed a fresh application of Eczema Ease Balm on the areas she’s more prone to eczema really does cut down on the nighttime itching and pain. SCORE! We’ve been using the twist-up tube of balm and I have really appreciated how easy it is to apply.
