time to clean up your blinds :: saturday inspiration and tip

Easy and efficient cleaning of your blinds with a sock. It’s not my proudest moment posting a photo of the hand prints that have been living in the dust on my blinds, but it makes for a great BEFORE and AFTER presentation. Hopefully your blinds aren’t as dusty as mine WERE. If you are looking for more tricks for cleaning blinds, my source was Reader’s Digest. Click HERE for a few more ideas. The sock worked great for me and seemed the least involving of my time to get the job done. I’ve used dusters in the past and it seems to make the dust fly everywhere and eventually land on the blinds again. The sock contained the dust well and was  easy to maneuver between the slats. Plus you get both sides done at the same time. I like efficient cleaning!

I have big hopes for the dryer sheet letting me go another uh…year…or more without dusting the blinds. 🙂 Testing it on my baseboards too.

Glad you like the tip! Happy cleaning Connie!
