“It’s too expensive… I don’t have time or space for scrapbooking… I’m not a creative person… I’m so behind...”
Have you heard anyone say things like this about scrapbooking? Have you said these things yourself? If so, you would not be alone. Traditional scrapbooking is still going strong, but it can be overwhelming, time consuming and rather expensive. That is why this concept from Becky Higgins is so brilliant. What am I talking about?
Here is a quick video that perfectly explains what Project Life is, and exactly how it works.
*It’s easy and convenient
*It allows me to keep it simple when I need to, or elaborate and embellish more when I’m feeling creative, or have more time
*It has inspired me to take more meaningful photos to capture a story or memory, not just document a birthday, vacation, or milestone.
Here is a look at the Seafoam Kit that I am using this year, and how I approach my Project Life Album.

February 8, 2013 at 5:05 pmI do Project Life already, but I only have the Cherry core kit. February 8, 2013 at 4:34 pmI have been debating between paper or digital. I like digital because I never print pictures anymore but if it is digital then you are limited to working on it from your computer. If I win, then I will be forced to use what I get and I can just get started with it.

February 8, 2013 at 4:17 pmLoved the videos. I’ve been looking into starting this way of scrapping for the past few months, but haven’t started it yet. I was wondering how you do your typing on the cards. Do you just type onto a program like Word and then print on those cards, or did you buy the digital kit as well and you just type on those digital elements then print those?
Renae
February 8, 2013 at 4:15 pmI started Project Life last year – am STILL working through 2012, while documenting 2013. Would LOVE a new binder and kit to get 2013 started, as well π

February 8, 2013 at 4:14 pmI *just* learned of Project Life this week!

I’m inspired!! I’d love to start a Project Life album (or two!) I’ve tried traditional scrapbooking in the past and thought all of those things – pricey, time consuming, etc. This project definitely seems doable! π

February 8, 2013 at 4:03 pmOh!Oh!Oh! I’ve only just jumped on the bandwagon this year and am in love with the whole concept. I used to scrapbook but unfortunately time over the past 12 months has taken me away from sitting down and creating pages.
Project Life is so easy, I can still be creative and I don’t need hours to get something done!!
Lovin’ it!
