making memories at disney on ice :: review

MA226034-GrandRapidsMI-728X90Each day, we are creating memories.  Some memories will last a lifetime, others will only last a day or a week.  Life is so incredibly busy for so many people, that my husband and I decided long ago, we would take each day and make the best of it.  Making memories around every corner.

Last night was one of those nights where BIG memories were made, and I was able to share that not only with my two oldest daughters, but my Mom too.  I am not sure who had more fun…my girls or my Mom.  And THAT my friends, makes my heart happy!

We went to Disney on Ice.  You may recall my post from earlier in the week (you can see it HERE for ticket information {you can still go} and more!)

Let me tell you how AMAZING it was.  Well…let me SHOW you instead.  Get ready for picture overload!  Bear with, my “real” camera wasn’t taking the best pics so we substituted with my cell…obviously 🙂

After each scene, my 3 year old would stand up and say, “is there more momma, what’s next?!?!” It was adorable. You can see her expression above with her hands out 🙂

The show was the perfect length.  It started at 7 pm and ended by 9 pm.  There was a brief intermission which was great for my kids and their need to go potty 🙂 It started out great, the middle was great and the ending was GREAT.  Boys and girls alike would love this show.  I would not say it is designed for one over the other.  There was plenty girl and boy scenes alike!

Another wonderful thing about this Disney on Ice production was there were not a ton of loud noises or loud fireworks.  My oldest is very sensitive to loud noises and typically can’t stand them.  There were no problems at all with this!

The music and scenes were priceless.  It amazes me what people are able to do on skates – they were literally flipping too!  My daughters LOVED that!

Honestly, I really don’t have any complaints.  Well, my daughter’s only complaints were  not seeing Merida from Brave and Rapunzel from Tangled.  But hey, if that’s the worst of it, I am happy!

Before I go, I’ll share with you again a great synopsis of this wonderful production.  I hope you can go when this is in your town.  You will not be disappointed!
