I have two great little girls, with two totally different sets of taste buds. One is a chocolate lover (I swear that child can smell chocolate from 30 feet away) and the other is just NOT. She likes every other kind of sweet but chocolate is not her thing.
Have you ever noticed that Easter candy is mostly chocolate?
Thankfully YumEarth is coming to the rescue again at our house for a holiday sweet treat. I’ll be filling Miss M’s Easter eggs with YumEarth’s Sour Beans this year.
We were lucky enough to try out some of the Sour Beans the other week. First I have to say that after telling Miss M that the Sour Beans were from the same company who makes her favorite yummy suckers (i.e. YumEarth’s Organic Lollipops), even the pending promise of taste testing one of these delicious treats was incentive enough to inspire cooperation and good behavior. Score!
Once she actually got to try the Sour Beans though the first thing out of her mouth (and this is a direct quote from a 5 year old) was, “I could eat these all day!” I think that pretty much sums up how well received the Sour Beans were at our house.
With the perfect amount of sweet and sour (not too sour) it should come as no surprise that our bag didn’t even last 2 days which is making me curious to see how long the kids’ Sour Beans Easter candy lasts after it’s been delivered by a certain bunny…

March 20, 2013 at 1:26 pmThe roadside rootbeer drops! I love root beer barrels but have never seen these (we’ve tried almost every other kind of drop, the lollipops, and gummy bears and they’ve all been huge hits with both the kiddos and the adults in our house!)
