One of the very first games we could all play together as a family was matching games. This is still a tried and true favorite with us all and I believe my family currently has 5-6 Matching Games from Wonder Forge.
That number just grew with Wonder Forge’s newest release Disney Easter Matching Game. Besides for featuring some of our favorite Disney characters, this fun Matching Game stands out with the number of cards if offers. There is still the standard 72 cards, but instead of having sets of 2 cards per character image, there are 4 cards.
While I first thought that the 4-card sets were a mistake I quickly learned that this was intentional and I have to say we’re loving it. Right now having 4 card sets has made it possible for me to leave my 3-year-old and 5-year-old to play the Disney Easter Matching Game easily on their own.
I’m also excited to see how this game can grow with our family as the girls grow. Right now we’re playing where they find any 2 of the set and it’s considered a match, but the options to play with less cards (half of each character set, or 3 character sets) as well as requiring a full 4-card set for a ‘match’ has made me think this will be a great game for our family for many years.
