All I could afford when I was in college was a 5″ screen black and white tv. We would mount it in our living room because right now it is on a cabinet on a stand and the kids do climb up on their toys to try to get to it.

Not just for the safety reasons, but there are always tons of little people fingerprints on it, not to mention cat hair from our cats trying to chase stuff on the screen.
