i was there – the merida coronation was a special moment in time {#DisneySMMoms}

If you follow me on Twitter or Instagram, you will know that my family and I had the distinct honor and privilege to witness first hand the Merida Coronation when we were at the Disney Social Media Moms Conference in May.  It was an experience not one of us will soon be forgetting.  I wanted to share some pictures and videos from the magical experience with you all.

The thing that got me the most excited was our little invitation that arrived in my email inbox one day. Disney does EVERYTHING magical – and this was one of my first tastes as to just how magical our trip was going to be.

Let’s start from the beginning. It was a hot, HOT day. The kids were all a little warm and getting sticky…until the fun began. As soon as the fun began, it began HUGE!

It was kicked off with those adorable little girls, Sofia and Gracie. They came out and did their thing like they always do. Rockin’ little girls, let me tell you. Here, take a peek for yourself ::

 

Next, they introduced Gabby Douglas. GABBY DOUGLAS!! You know, Olympic Gold Medalist Gabby Douglas! Oh it was beyond magical for my 7 year old. She is beyond in to gymnastics right now, so to see someone she watched repeatedly on television was a dream come true for her. It was so awesome as well the interaction that took place on stage between the mothers and daughters.  First, Gabby Douglas with her mother and then Merida with her mother….  It was extra special for me since I am a Momma to three little ladies.  So touching!

Next, Merida made her GRAND entrance in on one of the most majestic horses we have ever seen.  She dismounted the horse and began her entrance to the stage.  Again, this was nothing but magical!  There were two amazing parts to this section.  All princesses were on stage together!  OOhhhhhh!!!  Next was to witness the entire Coronation.  No words for this experience.  I felt and still feel to honored to be included with my family in this epic date!

You guys. Disney is where it’s at. We were beyond blessed with this family time together, the memories that were made and the once in a lifetime experiences that were had. This is one of my posts that I was so thrilled to share with you. More to come for sure!!
