If your child likes a warmed bottle, read THIS LINK for the best way to heat milk. It’s stainless steel so it’s not microwave friendly. Just a quick mommy tip from me…I used room temperature water with all 3 of my kids so they weren’t persnickety when we were out and about and I couldn’t warm it. I realize if you nurse they are used to warm milk so that might not be advice for all, but don’t create any habits that make extra work. There’s plenty of work with a newborn so keep it simple!
If you head over to the Pura Website you can read much more about how safe these bottles are. Here is a short list of benefits this bottle offers:
Why Pura Kiki®?
- because even BPA-free plastic can leach chemicals and petroleum by-products
- because glass can break and chip
- because a bottle should work with your child’s choice of nipple or spout, not the other way around
- because a premium infant bottle should convert to a sippy cup as your child matures
- first and only 100% plastic-free feeding solution on the global market
- includes Silicone Nipple/Spout Travel Cover
