Watch out beach goers….it’s that time again — SHARK WEEK!
Ah yes, the week that reminds you that you are not alone in the waters. The week that has you questioning the sanity of swimmers, divers, surfers and anyone else that sets foot in the ocean. But don’t worry, it only lasts a week and then you’re safe in the waters again 😉
While we don’t have any real life sharks trolling the shores of Lake Michigan, I do have to warn you about a pretty cute one on the prowl.
We are celebrating Shark Week and the last few remaining weeks of Summer with the super fun SwimWays Sea Squirts PFD!!! These adorable life jackets are ones that kids will be begging to wear! US Coast Guard certified, the Sea Squirts PFDs come in three sizes for kids between 30 to 90 pounds and are available in three styles — Black (Orca Whale), Blue (Dolphin), Pink (Dolphin) and Orange (Clown Fish).
Oh, and that adorable fin? Don’t worry! It is flexible enough to fold flat when your little shark is sitting in a chair or on the boat!
Talon could not wait to hit the beach in his Blue Sea Squirts PFD. Honestly, he spent the first two days wearing it around the house, chasing his sisters because he loved it so much! While he thinks he’s pretty cool with his fins, I’m happy to know he’s safe near the water! With the neoprene outer cover and inner fabric liner, the life jacket is a comfortable fit. And the two straps across the chest and one between the legs helps keep the Sea Squirts in the correct position as they run, jump and swim!
These two features were really important to me because I wanted life jacket that Talon would actually wear. The Sea Squirts gives him the comfort and freedom to run around with his sisters while keeping his life jacket on the whole time! And trust me when I say this little shark doesn’t spend a lot of time just sitting and relaxing!
