twisterz toys :: words, words, words {giveaway}

I stumbled onto this company when I was at Toy Fair this year. My daughter Lili is VERY into learning how to read right now. Every time she sees a word she recognizes we have to sound it out or we have to spell words she is curious about.

The Alphabet Matcher from Twisterz Toys is very applicable to the stage she is in right now. While she knows all her letter sounds, it’s still very fun for her to play with.  She is very intrigued and excited when she fills up a row with all the correct answers.  How it works is you pick the letter at the start of the roller – and then you have to line up the words that match with the same sound.

Here is a little about the Alphabet Matcher:
Alphabet Matcher challenges children to choose a letter and the five corresponding images that begin with that letter. For example, select the letter “F” and find Fish, Foot, Frog, Flower and Flag. And answer guide is included. The Alphabet Matcher focuses on:

  • Motor Skills
  • Logic
  • Problem Solving
  • Spelling
  • Educational
  • No Electronics or Batteries

The Word Builder is just that – you build words! 🙂  Your child, with your help obviously, twists the rings to create words.  This one is a little harder and most likely for older kids.  But remember, I am comparing this to my 5 year old.  She doesn’t quite know how to build words on her own yet.

Twisterz Toys are safe, durable and easy to use, perfect for travel, bedtime, the classroom, or anywhere around the house. Twisterz inspire early developmental skills including creativity and imagination, logic, spelling, problem solving, and hand/eye coordination. Our products are free of electronics and batteries. They are designed to inspire creativity, learning and parental involvement.

Last, these two toys featured are not the only ones available.  The complete line of Twisterz products are available for sale on the Twisterz site!
