Oliver, a feisty young cat, explores New York in this thrilling animated classic cleverly based on Charles Dickens’ timeless story, OLIVER TWIST — featuring unforgettable songs performed by musical greats Billy Joel, Huey Lewis and Bette Midler! Joined by a pack of hilarious characters — dogs Dodger, Tito and their pals — Oliver knows he’s found a lifelong friend and a real home.
I was SO pumped to let my girls watch this one. From when I was younger, I remembered the catchy tunes and the antics of the animals in this classic, Oliver & Company. My Adalynn was incredibly excited to sit down and watch this one with me, foot tapping alongside mine. 🙂 That rambunctious little kitten had her at the first blink 🙂
You guys, this is the first time that Disney has released this on Blu-Ray hi-definition, and it’s just as great as I remember (obviously), just more clear and punchy! Side note, I can’t believe it’s been 25 years since this was released!!
Celebrate the 25th anniversary of a Disney classic with the stunning Blu-ray debut of Oliver And Company, featuring perfect picture and sound. Relive this charming animated adventure, packed with excitement, fun and unforgettable songs by Billy Joel, Bette Midler and Huey Lewis. In the heart of New York City, Oliver, a mischievous orphaned kitten, is befriended by Dodger, a carefree pooch and his ragtag family of misfit mutts. Life gets even better for Oliver when he is adopted by a lonely little girl named Jenny. But when tough guy Sykes and his Doberman sidekicks try to keep Jenny and Oliver apart, the spirited kitten and his newfound friends discover the meaning of courage and find a home where they truly belong.
