pocket prayer app :: free :: appy Friday :: review

disclaimer no giveaway prayer app
Having a consistent prayer life takes discipline, especially if you have little ones to distract you. As a Christian, I believe that God talks to me through His Word (the Bible) and I talk to Him through prayer. What do you do with your BFF? You talk their ear off and then you listen. It should be the same for my relationship with God. However, I needed a way to organize my prayer life. I never want to tell someone “I’ll pray for you.” and then totally forget. With the pocket prayer app (lite), which is FREE (whoot-whoot), I can enter my requests and even organize what days of the week I pray for certain requests.

Don’t feel badly if you don’t have a prayer life. This app would be a helpful place to start. It has topics of prayer to offer guidance when you pray. When my brother died, I was speechless. I would start to pray and my mind would wander all over the place. This prayer app can be used not only to lead you in a prayer to your Heavenly Father, but also it closes your prayer with a promise from God. I’m a child of God and He wants to hear from me and I NEED to hear from Him.

So, if you are looking to organize your prayer life or start a prayer life, check out pocket prayer pro (lite) :: free. I’ve been using it for a few months. It’s such a thrill to see a prayer answered and put a check mark in the box. It’s sad that I’m such a type A personality that I needed to organize my prayer life with an app, but it’s made it a more effective and personal time for me.

That’s great you want to do this with your kids! I have been trying to teach ours as well…not to just say the same prayer every time, but to mean what they say because they are talking to God. It’s a work in progress. 🙂
