Earlier this year I had the wonderful opportunity to go to Florida with my family in conjunction with the Disney Social Media Moms (I have a section for the DisneySMMoms if you want to read more – always adding to it!). There were SO many memories created and SO much information learned.
As you know, I am a runner and love anything related to that. There was a fabulous event where we could run a 2 Mile Run with Ali Vincent!! Not only was I excited to take part in the run with RUN DISNEY…HELLO!! But the opportunity to meet someone who is such an inspiration as Ali is…wow. I would consider this a Disney {win!} in my book. Oh yah!
We got up dog-gone early and ran. We ran, we talked, many overcame the obstacle of feeling they could never run that far. Ali Vincent we learned is a super awesome person. Very encouraging, I enjoyed my time greatly with her!!
I’m so proud of many of the people who ran that morning. There were tears of joy when they crossed the finish line. Some of the runners even said they will be checking out and entering another, “real” Run Disney Event. How incredible is that!!
All in all – SUCH a fabulous time. Met and ran with many great new people. There is something about getting out of your comfort zone that makes it so awesome. Seems like whenever I am stretched by doing something I wouldn’t normally do, I always end up meeting people I would have never met before. YAY!!
I encourage you to do the same. Get out of your comfort zone, do something different. Be “out of your box” with your thinking – I bet you will be stretched and rewarded greatly with what you can do! 🙂

Run Disney is pretty spectacular. They have SO many race options. Pop on over and see what it’s all about. Now, the races fill up FAST so get up on it!! 🙂 I will be doing one of these races. My goal was for Spring 2014, but I’m having a baby instead. So….on to the next goal!! 🙂
Ali Vincent has a show – Live Big. Click on over and see what that’s all about

October 25, 2013 at 12:51 amSuch amazing memories! I’m so glad I got to share that experience with you. In fact, I distinctly remember us discussing the possibility of baby #4 right before the race. 😉
P.S. I’m registered for the Tinker Bell 1/2 Marathon…my first 1/2 marathon ever. Wish me luck!

December 3, 2013 at 2:13 pmYes, I’m so happy we did too!! Seems like just yesterday…how on earth does time fly so fast!!! I have on my radar for next year to do a Disney race. I wish I could have done the Tinker Bell 1/2 with you – that would have been a blast! But I’ll join ya AFTER this baby…if you aren’t expecting that is!! 😉
