brushing your teeth, we all do it :: review

I have a very simplistic post for you all today.  However, this one is different because it’s something we all do.  Not all our posts on SIMPLE relate to every demographic that reads our site.  Let’s talk about oral hygiene for a moment, shall we?  On that note, I hate the word combination, “oral hygiene”, so for the sake of this post, it will be teeth hygiene.  There…much better, although grammatically incorrect I’m sure. 🙂

sonicare power up brushI was given the Sonicare Power Up Challenge and my husband and I accepted!  We have been using the toothbrushes for two weeks now, and I’ll be honest in saying my teeth feel cleaner!  I am very thorough when it comes to brushing my teeth, so for me to notice a difference, is saying a lot.

There is one mode…on.  You can’t adjust those power levels…what you get is what you get.  I must say, this little guy does pack quite a punch!  This toothbrush is fantastic for those that want good tooth hygiene, but are on a budget.  For under $20 each, you can have your own electric toothbrush.  Can’t beat that!  Plus, there is a 20-minute timer that ensures you are doing what you can do in a good amount of time.

It is battery powered.  I don’t know how long they last as I have been using it and haven’t had to replace the batteries yet.  I do know that I have been using it for 2 weeks, brush 2-3 times a day and it doesn’t feel as though I have lost any “power” yet.

Some fun facts for you ::

  • A month’s worth of brushstrokes in one day
  • Better plaque removal as compared to a manual toothbrush – up to 75% more overall, and up to 2x more in hard-to-reach places
  • Safe and gentle on gums and teeth
  • Powerful but gentle cleaning action drives fluid deep between teeth
  • Noticeable results and a better check-up in 28 days or your money back

I highly encourage you to check out the Sonicare Power Up brush and replace your old, bristly manual toothbrush.  Yes, they are more than your average toothbrush, but you will feel the difference and hopefully your dentist bill will NOTICE a difference as this little guy gets in where the manual toothbrush does not!
