Now, I knew that Carrington Farms had coconut oil, but I did not know that they had other products.  I think slowly switching out your old products and using Carrington Farm products is the easy and healthy way to go.  No need to do it all at once.

I received several products to try from Carrington Farms. I am so happy with their products.  They sent me little packets of organic flax paks, which is milled flax seeds.  There is the perfect amount in these little packets. It is great for on the go as well. They are so easy to sneak into your baking without anyone knowing it.  I recently added them to some muffins and banana bread I was making. Each packet is filled with high quality, finely sliced and Micro-Cleansed Organic Milled Flax Seeds, that is 99.99% pure while maintaining the sought after health benefits of Flax Seeds. Both Chia and Flax are high in soluble and insoluble fiber  which promotes healthy digestion and bowel regularity. They are both gluten free and do not have any cholesterol, sodium, or  sugars, yet they provide energy and nutrition. Combining both of these seeds results in a SUPER high amount of Omega-3’s, protein, and fiber!

I did not know this but they have coconut cooking oil. Did you know that?  It is pretty awesome.  Carrington Farms Liquid Coconut Cooking Oil is the first of its kind! Liquid Coconut cooking oil is a healthy and great alternative to traditional oils such as vegetable, olive, canola, and corn oil. The oil retains all the health benefits of traditional coconut oil but is odorless and flavorless, and the bonus part is that it remains liquid!  They also have the cold pressed coconut oil as well (in which I have a whole vat of in my pantry), but I prefer this for cooking.  This coconut cooking oil is sold exclusively at Wal-Mart.

When a recipe calls for oil, I grab my coconut oil and use it.  It works perfectly and I have not had any complaints.  I think it actually makes our baked goods more moist.

Lastly, I got to try out some of their organic teas. For the “green” mom: Carrington Organics Teas are the first-ever 100% recyclable and eco-friendly tea (packaging will fully and safely biodegrade when composted, as it is made of renewable wood pulp.  They comes in three delicious flavors – Herbal, Green Tea Lemon and Chamomile.  I loved the Chamomile tea the best.  I drink it at night for a soothing nights sleep.
