School has started.  Thanksgiving is over.  Christmas is just around the corner.  Seriously, how is time flying SO incredibly fast!  Speaking of time flying so fast, my little baby is 7 years old already!!  When on earth did that happen?  She keeps growing and growing and growing.  She’s like the energizer bunny that keeping going and going and going…

With all that in mind, let’s talk shoes.  With her sudden and continual growth spurts, means shoes are an ever so common discussion in our home.

“Mom, these are tight”

“Mom, my toe is touching the front”

Words no mother wants to hear after she has thoroughly thought out just exactly how much was spent on these shoes.  The thing that gets me is that I “invest” in shoes and don’t just make sporadic choices.  Not very often at least.  If I am going to be spending my money on a pair of shoes, the shoes are going to last, be good for her feet AND look good on.  Three points that See Kai Run has in every single pair of shoe.  I have had See Kai Run on SIMPLE before, for some Spring shoes as well as other fun things.  Today I’m highlighting a pair from their Fall/Winter 2013 collection.  I have to say, they are as lovely in person as I had hoped they would be upon seeing them online.  Check out the Gigi boots from the Kai line over at See Kai Run…

The boots are quality.  q.u.a.l.i.t.y.  To start with, the shoe is made well enough to have been given the stamp of approval by the American Podiatric Medical Association’s with their prestigious Seal of Acceptance award.  The zipper detail on the back of the boot is awesome for helping her get her foot in and out with no challenges.  The accent piping of pink and red in contrast to the black and grey is pretty flashy.  All in all, these boots are great!  I put them on my child and she wears them often!
