We are big Disney people. We love Disney movies, Disney books, Disney apps, Disney toys, Disney shows, Disney World, and I’m sure we’ll like Disney Land once we finally make it there! (One day! One day I will make it there!) Here a few shots from our most recent trip to WDW a few weeks ago. My kids (ages 3, 5, 7, and 9) were the
perfect ages this time. The littlest one was old enough to really “get” it and the oldest one was still young enough for it to still be truly magical.
So given my love for all things Disney, I was super excited when I found out that they had an opportunity for me to share the magic with my friends! Through something called Disney Side @Home Celebrations, I got everything I needed to host a fun Disney party – not only essentials like cups, plates, and decorations but also fun stuff like Mickey tattoos, bracelets, and other goodies. They also provided some great tips on
recipes and
activities.
I let my kids plan the party, so it was pretty simple. We had pizza and Mickey Mouse Rice Krispy treats (like the ones they sell at the parks) and we played one of my kids’ favorite games: Disney DVD Bingo. (I don’t think they make it any more but it is a spectacular game if you can get your hands on a copy!) I think the favorite thing by far was, interestingly enough, the little Mickey temporary tattoos. It really doesn’t take much to make this crew happy!
