There are few toys that have the staying power of Mega Bloks and Hot Wheels. I remember playing with Hot Wheels for hours on end when I was little (hey, I had two younger brothers and an innate compulsion to want to play with (a.k.a. steal) their favorite toys). Every time we are in the checkout lane of the grocery store, my son asks me for a new car to add to his growing stockpile. I doubt he will ever stop asking. But now I can remind him that together, we built not one, but TWO race cars courtesy of Mega Bloks‘ newest product line, the Hot Wheels collection. We were lucky enough to assemble the Fast Fish and the Bad to the Blade models, which are just the coolest of the cool when it comes to race cars. They each come complete with their own miniature driver as well as bragging rights for building a race car at age 4. 
The Mega Bloks Hot Wheels line features some really cool cars your kiddo can assemble (with a bit of help from mom or dad, depending on the age group) and provide hours of fun even for kids that can’t quite put the cars together themselves yet. My 18-month old daughter has played with these cars almost as much as my 4-year old son, and while some of the pieces come off when she roughhouses with them, they do not completely come apart. And to be quite honest, I had a lot of fun putting these two cars together with my little man……and I am not usually the best at toy assembly. So many steps, so little patience (so many distractions!!). But we had fun the whole way through and the results are way worth it.
