My body may be different now, but it is even better. It was during those 9 months and the year following that I learned what a strong woman really is. It is a woman who can live with only a few hours of sleep and still function (barely) the next day. It is the woman whose hug is the only thing that will comfort her sweet baby like no one else can. It is the woman who can hold a 18lb baby for more than an hour while trying to get him to sleep (I’ve had macho men start to get sore after just a few minutes!). It is the woman who’s body is so amazing that it can sustain life for 9 months PLUS nourish life afterwards while breastfeeding. A woman’s body is incredible… a true miracle!
I may love my “mommy body” and everything it stands for, but I also want to take care of it and feel great too! Just because I am comfortable in my skin, doesn’t mean that I do not want to do everything I can to get it back in shape. This is where Knocked-Up Fitness comes in!
