hip hip hooray for stampin’ up :: review

stampin Can I get a round of applause for Stampin’ Up!?? Thank you, thank you!! Both Jaime and I have applauded their amazing card kits before and I am here again to tell you how awesome they are (A.W.E.S.O.M.E.)! This time I got to try out their {NEW} Hip Hip Hooray Kit, which is just as magical as it sounds. There is just something inside of each of us that makes us happy when we are making others happy. The Hip Hip Hooray Kit is meant to help us uplift others while having a wee bit of fun ourselves.

I have mainly (so far) used this kit to make sweet little notes for my kindergartner who is now at school all day, every day. I MISS HER!!!! Every day before she gets on the bus, she gives me a sweet little kiss on the lips and then sprints for the bus. I know she loves school and I LOVE that she loves school. But I miss her so much while we are apart. And so many times I wonder what she thinks when she opens her lunch and sees a note from me (which she probably still needs help to read, truth be told). But I hope that what she thinks is, “Wow! My mom sure loves me!” Because that is all that I want.

These cards take mere moments to make once you set up the stamp kit itself (mounting the stamps onto the backing, etc.) but are worth so much more. I love making them because I can absolutely envision my daughter’s reaction when she realizes that I have included a little love note to bring a smile to her day. It might bring a smile to her day, but it makes mine completely worthwhile. This kit comes with three stamps, a myriad of backgrounds, and makes twenty cards total. Just imagine the joy!!

This is really neat and would be a lot of fun to make your own cards and personalize them.
