show some “love” with the lovebook :: review + giveaway

What do you get the man who seems to have everything? This is the question I found myself asking as my 6 year anniversary rolled around. My hubby has so many hobbies: hunting, golfing, fishing, archery… anything outdoorsy, you name it! I don’t think giving him a fishing pole conveys what I want to say though. It’s like saying, “Hey babe, I love you! Go fish!” haha…

So when I had the opportunity to review the LoveBook, I was super excited! This was exactly the thoughtful gift I was looking for! What is the LoveBook? The name says it all! The LoveBook is a customizable book that lists all the reasons you love someone.

Using simple stick figures, you create your book as detailed (or not) as you would like. There are templates that you can use and customize as you choose. For instance, there was a template that said, “I love you because you are so agreeable.” While the setting was perfect, I was able to customize it to fit our personalities. Don’t see an illustration that you are looking for? That’s OK! The LoveBook has illustrators that will help you create the perfect picture.

I not only used this book to tell my hubby all the things that I love about him, but I also chose to illustrate our personal story. We find it fun to reminisce about everything that we have done over the past several years, so I had fun illustrating and creating something that could SHOW us what we have done! From recapping everywhere we have traveled, to places we have lived, to how my hubby proposed… I was able to create a page for each special event in our lives.

When I handed this book to my hubby a couple weeks ago, he loved it! He has told me several times since just how much he enjoyed that gift. Not only was it special, but it was also unique and customized to US!
