I don’t live in a pinterest-perfect house. I never will. Even once the kids are grown and gone, I can’t imagine that I’ll ever be able to have everything exactly as it should be all the time. It’s just not who I am. But even if it’s not photo-ready all the time, I still love my house. And my favorite parts of our home aren’t the things that I bought from a store, but the stuff that I made or that we made together.
