team ibotta :: I’ve gotten $117 cash back for shopping :: app review

I’m still using an app called Ibotta to get cash back on my grocery and other shopping trips. Have you read my posts in the past? I recently stopped my newspaper subscription because I just plain don’t have time to do the coupon clipping. 3 kids under 6 years old makes my brain mush and life busy. The Ibotta app is my coupon alternative and has simplified my life. Since I joined I have gotten a grand total of $117 back. CASH deposited into my Paypal account every time I hit a $5 balance.

Ibotta gets better with each update. Most recently they added a feature that allows you to create a team with your friends so you can earn extra cash back through Teamwork Bonuses. You can earn cash faster! Want to join my team? Many of you already have and I can’t thank you enough! If you redeem one rebate and your team reaches the monthly goal, everyone on your team will get a bonus!

Where does Ibotta work?

Over 100 stores have deals for you. I get a few dollars each week for my trips to Costco, Target, and Safeway. I have a friend that is saving for Christmas shopping. She’s earned even more then I have because she has a family of 7 she’s shopping for. I’ll list the categories, but HERE is a full list of participating stores. I would guess the only store you won’t find is a small mom and pop place called Rainbow’s End (childhood reference of a store I loved to wander as a kid.)

How does Ibotta work?

Check out the weekly rebates and unlock them BEFORE your shopping trip. Purchase the items you’ve unlocked at a participating store. Redeem by uploading the receipt to verify you purchased the correct items. Wait a few hours and you will see your rebates deposited in your account. Once you have a $5 balance you can transfer it to PayPal or opt for gift cards such as iTunes or Starbucks.
