A few years ago, a friend of mine brought a yummy dip to a party and history was made. If a dip could literally knock your socks off, this one would. So of course, I asked her for the recipe. And then I accidentally deleted it from my phone. So like anyone with the Google would do, I took to the internet. And I found this super easy, tasty-licious recipe that is perfect for any summer gathering. Chiggity check it:
Asparagus, trimmed and washed
1 cup mayo (I used the new kind with olive oil, to make it low fat)
4 tsp soy sauce
1 1/2 tsp sugar
2 tsp lemon juice (it calls for fresh but I used bottled)
2 tsp wasabi paste
Directions ::
Cook asparagus by placing it in boiling water for 1 minute. Run under cold water immediately to stop asparagus from cooking. Mix mayo, soy sauce, sugar, lemon juice, and wasabi together in a small bowl. Serve with dip.
Easy, awesome, delicious!! Yippee!
