#TGIBTS :: Fruit of the Loom :: #BackToSchool :: review + $75 Walmart giveaway

 I received a gift card from Fruit of the Loom in exchange for writing this blog post. Although this post is sponsored, all opinions are my own.

We are enjoying our last full week of summer vacation. School starts August 27th for us. We sleep in, stay in our PJ’s til the spirit moves, and snuggle on the couch while we watch cartoons. We are really good at being lazy in the morning. That being said, it means we need to be as prepared as possible for the mornings we have to get out the door. Having enough underwear to stay ahead of the laundry is very important. While I’m having great success with THIS laundry system we started a few months back, a week’s worth of underoos is a good idea. I shopped for the Fruit of the Loom bonus packs at Walmart to get us all ship shape for the coming school year.

tgibts

I did all our #BackToSchool shopping online with Walmart. It’s a form of torture for me to have to shop with all 3 kids. Anytime I can shop online, I’m a happy girl. I got all Jack & Annabelle’s supplies for class, Fruit of the Loom undershirts and underwear, and a new (SUPER NARROW) booster seat to help alleviate the car drama we have getting buckled. Let me make a plug for the Bubble Bum seat. I got it based on Robyn’s review and because I read it’s the most narrow booster in all the lands! It’s been the answer to getting the kids buckled safely and in a timely fashion. We might have a fighting chance to get to school on time.

#TGIBTS stands for “Thank Goodness It’s Back to School”. I don’t believe I will ever be a morning person, but after I get over the fact that we have to get up and out the door for school, I can appreciate the structure that school brings back to our home for the next 8 months. Speaking of heading back to school, have you printed your free “first day of school” sign that we shared a few weeks ago?

    I am sort of sad my daughter is going back to school this year. She just turned 9 and is at that age where everything has really become a level of being her best friend just because there isn’t as much time right now needed correcting and parenting (even though I know that doesn’t last long). We have really had an awesome summer together.

    I’m a granny who still thrills in being able to help out with my grandson getting off to and from school daily. His mom and dads work hours start early and end after end of schools day, so I do the running for it. And rather enjoy it too. And I like to help all I can with his school supplies and snacks, etc. Like you, I’d much rather sit from my comfy desk chair and order from online with walmart.com. No parking spaces to hunt, germs to pick up with cold seasons and I love the way I can get walmarts free gift cards on certain items you purchase online And free shipping too. Fruit of loom products are easy to pick and lots of choices in styles.

    I was very excited for my kids to start back to school. One of my twin girls Brittany is finally on her own and in the second grade. She has been in CDC for the three years. It helped having her held back. The other twin Breanna is still struggling and will continue in the CDC class but has showed a lot of improvement since Kindergarten. My teenage son Robert has started his Sophomore year in high school. There are still a few things we need in school supplies as throughout the year they need to do various projects. Thanks for the chance!

    I am a 43 year old mother of 3 girls and just recently a 3 month old boy. My oldest daughter who is 22 just signed up for her first year of community college , after taking a
    hiatus and doing some traveling and I totally supported her decision. Her question to me was “Mom can we go school supply shopping” .I said yes after I see what’s left over from bills. My second born is starting her senior year at a Charter High School with a 4.0 grade point average. All I could say is she gets it from her momma.So proud of her I can’t find the words to explain her, she is magic to me . My third child is starting 4th grade and well words can’t explain her neither , except hyper . I’ll just say a prayer for her teacher. She is definitely my wild child . Last but not least my final child , I just had him 3 months ago ,he is my miracle child. I’m definitely cherishing my days home with him , he is my angel.I think I’ll be crying on his first day of preschool. So there you have it my ADVENTURER, SCHOLARLY, WILD CHILD, ANGEL. We all live on a budget my husband is the only one working at this time 75$ would help so much. Thank You

    I think it is great because it keeps them for lounging all day. Right now the only things on the list are clothes

    My son is just in preschool, so no real worries there yet. I still need to find him some new jeans and tennis shoes.

    I’m sad that Summer is over and I didn’t accomplish all the fun things I was hoping too before the super cold Winter returns and we are all stuck back inside lest we freeze to death.

    My kids are too young for school actually…. 17 mos. And 2 mos. 🙂 but I’d still love to win and get them new winter clothes and shoes for my 17 month old!

    Mine don’t go back until after Labor Day, so I’m excited for it! We still need three pairs of sneakers, new socks & underwear, and some jeans.
