I recall when I was growing up, I had a go-to doll that always went with me. Everywhere I went…she was there. She had long, straight brown hair, just like I did. Sometimes I would braid the pigtails and other times I would leave them straight. Oh the memories I created with this little honey! I am talking about my beloved Cabbage Patch doll.  Did you know they are back on the shelves? Have you see them?

CPK TwinkleToes Skechers

If not, I am thrilled to be the one sharing this fun news! For all of us born in the 80’s, and now have kids that are the ages we were when we enjoyed this doll, it’s so exciting to know that our children now have the opportunity to create many of the same memories!

Not only are they back on the shelves, but they are revamped and cooler than ever. We received a Cabbage Patch Doll that has LIGHT. UP. SKECHERS. For reals!! Oh the screams that came from Preslee when she saw this! Now her doll has shoes just like her!

What do you think? Can you see surprising your little one with this gift this year?

OMG! Do they bring back some good memories for me. I loved Cabbage Patch Dolls when I was a little girl. My mom bought me one for every holiday.

I was not a child in the 80’s, I was in my 20’s, but i still had two Cabbage Patch Kids. A girl and a boy doll. They were my kids…..lol. one year I actually had a friend take pictures of me with them and my Marvin doll. I have duplicates made and made framed collages of the pictures. I gave them to my mom and grandma for Christmas one year. My grandmother hung hers on the wall with the other pictures of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
I had my dolls up until about ten years ago when I had to sell them due to a financial hardship we were in. I had a yard sale and got $50 for the pair. I hated to let them go but we needed the money. That’s my cabbage patch story.
