happy Howl-ween from PetSmart :: review

Halloween is just about month away and Dexter has not stopped bugging me about what he wants to dress-up as. Every day it’s something different — Superhero. Shark. Jack-o-Lantern. Pirate. George Clooney.

Okay…I’m totally kidding! Dexter is our 8 month old Boxer puppy!

 

But I’m not kidding when I say that we love Halloween in our house and the dogs are all about joining in on the spooktacular fun!

And, thanks to PetSmart, let the dog costume shopping begin!

 

We love shopping at PetSmart for Jasper & Dexter. It’s a great ‘one-stop-shop’ for all our dog needs! And, when it comes to Halloween costumes for the pups, no place can beat PetSmart!

Here are my 3 favorite things about shopping for pet costumes at PetSmart ::

1. Variety

PetSmart offers such a wide array of pet costumes. Everything from animals to DC Comics characters. Disney characters to the classic Halloween costumes. And everything in-between.

 

You can even turn your pooch into a valiant steed for a princess, cowboy. or Kermit the Frog. Yes, Kermit.

 

2. Not just for dogs

But the variety doesn’t stop there! Not only does PetSmart carry costumes for your dog from sizes small to 2x (yay for the big dogs!), but you can also get costumes for your cat, reptile, ferret, guinea pig, etc. And, not to leave our water dwelling friends out, you can get accessories to spookily your fish tank.

 

3. Price

Starting at just $8.99, PetSmart costumes are an affordably fun way to get your pet in on the Halloween fun.

 

And, at those prices, it won’t be so frustrating when someone decides he doesn’t want to participate in the night of trick-or-treating fun. Let’s face it, puppies are just about as unpredictable as toddlers!

 

Speaking of avoiding the trick-or-treating part of Halloween…if you know your pup isn’t going to do so well the night of, consider giving him his own special Halloween fun with PetSmart’s Fright & Delight Event at your local PetSmart where your pet can dress up, get fun treats and get their photo taken!
