I needed to replace a pair of black flats that I had. They had served their time and were just worn out and ugly. Yet, I held on to them because a girl needs a good pair of black flats. I mean, black goes with everything, well, just about. So, when the Brian James Fall 2014 collection rolled out, I spied a pair of black flats and my heart started racing. They are some of the cutest flats I had seen because of the detail, yet I was hoping they would fit right AS WELL AS look cute.
That they did!!
The pair of Angelique ballet flats from Brian James that I received have something different about them. Something that sets them apart from others I have seen. It’s the “bold snakeskin infused toe caps”. That’s what got me! Adding a touch of something to a traditionally basic shoe makes me smile! Not only that detail, but the leather, the super soft and cushy insoles and the elastic topline around the shoe make this one of the best shoes I currently have in my closet.
Not only are these fabulous in the black that I received, but they come in additional colors too. If the snakeskin isn’t your thing, but you are liking the basic shape and everything else I shared with you about these flats, they have more minimalistic flats too. I’m a loud girl and love details, but not everyone can relate to that. So, I encourage you to check out their additional selection in the Angelique!
What jumps out at you from the Brian James collection? Whether it’s a shoe style or a feature – talk to me!
