As Mom’s, we need to feel fabulous! It’s not a “I’m trying to impress the world” sort of fabulous. It’s an, “I need to feel good about myself so that I can take care of others” kind of fabulous.
Living in Michigan, boot season is about to take over my life. So, for now I am loving that I can wear pops of color with the Lamo moccasins I’m sharing with you today. I wasn’t sure I would like them upon seeing them online. Sizing can be an issue when shopping online. I typically wear either a 9.5 or a 10 in my shoes and I opted for the 10’s – they were just right! They have these moccasins in 7 different colors and they have an assortment of styles as well, including boots!
I am sharing with you simply one way I have turned my outfit around with the lamo moccasins. I have also worn these with capris and skinny jeans. I opted out of sharing the photo with the capris as we are going in to winter in many parts of the country. I wanted to focus on a way you could use the moccasins in your wardrobe right now!
I added a fun cardigan, because, cardigans. Gotta love them! I kept the same shirt, ditched the tennis shoes (because, hello mom shoes!) and replaced them with these fabulous green moccasins. To replace a pair of tennis shoes with something else, says a lot. Tennis shoes mean comfort and relaxed feeling. I believe I get teh same feeling with these moccasins. Woo Hoo – way cuter too!
I added the necklace from Charming Charlie that I picked up on one of my many adventures to that store and some fun hoops from Kohl’s. A simple hoop would look great too with this outfit as there is already so much going on.
I want to mention, they also have a men’s line and a kid’s line too through Lamo Footwear.
I would love to know your thoughts. What do you think of this outfit? Would you do this?

October 20, 2014 at 9:05 pmThose colors are perfect! I love the shoes…all of it. I’m such a sucker for a pop of bright or neon with neutrals! Plus, my kids seem to think it’s fun, too.

October 20, 2014 at 12:23 pmI love your outfit and post. It’s so true that we typically reach for simple, decent looking clothes and throw them on and forget to add a few little (and easy) things to make it pop just a little. Thanks for sharing!
