what is kwilt? one of the coolest things ever! :: review {#Kwilting}

Oh the joys of running around like a chicken with our heads cut off. Right? Especially this time of year! Well, I don’t know about you, but no matter how busy I am, I am STILL taking photos. I probably take 5-20 pictures per day!! Yes, I know it’s probably a little excessive, but my kids are growing SO fast, I’m afraid I won’t remember all the little things they are doing. Matter of fact, I know that I won’t remember. There are already things I have forgotten. Hence, the photos that I will continue to take quite frequently. However, isn’t it the pits when you can’t seem to find a photo that you knew you took? Ugh, that’s the worst feeling ever. Your heart gets all racy and you think, “did I accidentally delete this treasured, once in a lifetime photo?”

Well, I have a solution for you today and it comes via a free app at the iOS app store. Yes, another app…BUT this app is worth an entire blog post. Ya feel me?

Ok, so now that we got that out of the way, let’s talk about what this little thing can do!  Kwilt is the app and it’s amazing! It is the first of it’s kind to create a “live digital photo stream” combining images from across the board of all your media platforms. For example, Facebook, Instagram, Flickr, Google+, Google Drive, Dropbox, DLNA Certified® servers, iPhones and iPads. Not only does it do this….IT ORGANIZES THEM so it’s easy to search and find the photos you are looking for!!

One thing I want to point out that I thought was super important – it doesn’t STORE your photos, it simply organizes them. Because let’s be real, our devices don’t have much room anyways with all the apps and photos and videos we have going on. Am I right? That’s a huge feature in my eyes!
