How many of you love to clean? A few, I’m sure. But how many of you love to clean your shower? That is the one area I least enjoy cleaning. Probably because I’m lugging in cleaner, rags, a scrub brush and a squeegee into a small space, then spending way too much time trying to clean the floor, the door, the walls and the tile grout.
I have to say I jumped at the chance to try out The Shower Shimmy. The Shower Shimmy is an all-in-one shower tool plus {green} cleaner that hangs right on my shower wall. The cleaning solution is stored right in the wand. One side of the wand is equipped with both a heavy duty sponge as well as bristles for cleaning grout. The other side has a squeegee attached. This makes it super convenient to do a quick scrub while I’m in the shower which means there is one less thing to do when I’m cleaning the bathroom. And since the solution has tested as effective as the leading shower cleaner but as safe as a bar of soap, I even let the kids help out with the cleaning task while they’re showering.
When I decided to review the Shower Shimmy, I went ahead and stopped cleaning my shower for a few weeks–you know, to really put the product to the test! During that time, my shower got pretty gross–soap scum on the door, the “pink stuff” on the floor and walls that needed scrubbing. As you can see from my before and after pictures, The Shower Shimmy and Super Cleaning Solution really did the job! And I’ve been able to keep the shower clean with just a quick scrubbing while I’m in the shower.
