What was under out Christmas tree this year? I’m glad you asked!! This year we had some very special gifts for our sweet little boy, but one of our favorites was fire truck from Luke’s Toy Factory.

Made in the USA, this fire truck is made from quality eco-friendly materials. It’s really cool! Luke’s Toy Factory has found a way to use sawdust and clean, certified plastic pellets to create a product that has the look and feel of a wooden toy. There is obviously a difference when compared to a solid wood toy, but it sure beats the cheap plastic feel that so many toys are made from these days!

My son loved that the fire truck came in several pieces… it’s kind of like a puzzle. Even at two years old, he had fun figuring out how to put the pieces together! What little boy (or girl) doesn’t love a firetruck? My husband and I were just talking about the fact that so many toys don’t allow for imagination any more. We love hearing our son making a “rumbling” sound as he pushes his truck around and says “wee-ooo-wee-ooo” as he rushes off to fight imaginary fires.

Luke’s Toy Factory is a modern take on old school simplicity that allows for imagination and calls on fine motor skills and thinking. I love that it is made in my home country and am proud to support local small businesses!
