“This post is brought to you by The Stork OTC and The Motherhood. All opinions are my own.”
When my husband and I decided that it was time for us to start trying to have a baby, neither of us realized the journey we were about to embark on. I soon learned the agony of waiting month after month, watching for two little pink lines to appear. The HOPE that came with each new month and the devastation that followed as each test was negative for… over… two…. years. With each friend that told me they were expecting a baby, I politely told them I was happy for them… and I truly believe a small part of me was happy for them…. but the gut wrenching sobs that wracked my body in the cover of darkness as I lay in bed clutching empty arms to my body felt like more than I could bare.
Thankfully, after 2.5 years I finally got those 2 little pink lines… and all of a sudden those years seemed worth it.
During those years of trying to conceive, I learned that I was not alone. 1 in 6 couples are not able to conceive within 12 months of trying and 6.7 million women ages 15-44 have impaired ability to get pregnant or carry a pregnancy to term. I’m sure most of those couples were like my husband and me… desperately searching for answers and looking for a safe and effective way to get pregnant.
Unfortunately, most insurance companies do not cover fertility treatments… leaving a lot of couples without many options. That is why I am excited to share with you Stork OTC! Cervical cap insemination is a technique that you can do in the privacy of your own home to increase your chance of pregnancy each month! While this may not be the answer for everyone, it can be a beacon of light for those of us who struggle with fertility and give us just one more option to try before doing more invasive procedures.
The Stork OTC is a drug free conception aid that helps optimize the chances of pregnancy each month. It has been cleared by the FDA for over-the-counter sales without a prescription. February 16, 2015 at 3:05 pmAfter 3 doctors told us we would need to do IVF and 2 years, my husband and I finally got pregnant 2 wks before our IVF consult. We have a beautiful 2 year old but would love another… we just tried this today for the first time. Fingers crossed, I’ll let you know if anything comes of it. Walgreens had it on sale for $75 and it was shipped to me FREE, only 1.5 days after ordering!

January 28, 2015 at 10:48 pmI would love to try this – We’ve been trying, but I’m concerned as I’m almost 40. Perhaps I waited to long by putting my career first. Maybe this would help?

January 28, 2015 at 7:48 pmMy husband and I have been trying, unsuccessfully, to have a baby. We’ve tried several different options, but still no luck. We can’t really afford treatments, so this would be a nice alternative to try. We are holding out hope!
