I have to say we had a very mild November and December, especially compared to last year, but now the cold has settled in and I imagine it will stay for a while. It’s easy to stay warm during the day, but there’s something about sleeping at night when everyone’s still, that makes the house seem a little chillier on those really cold nights. I love to just bundle up with extra blankets, but for my 9 month old who doesn’t have blankets in his crib, I need to look for ways to make sure he stays warm at night.
HALO is a leader in safe sleep products for babies, and their new SleepSack Winter Weight has been the perfect solution to keeping my baby warm as the nights are getting colder. I love the soft baby blue material and the sweet little penguin too! It still allows him plenty of room to move around, roll over, and sit up, but it keeps him toasty warm.
I love to get him all snuggled up in it and then sit on the couch or rocker to read with him or just unwind before bed. The cozy quilted feel and TOG value of 2.5 makes this a comfortable SleepSack for the winter. Your little one can keep warm in HALO’s warmest wearable blanket this winter! It comes in different sizes and either pink or blue. Keep your baby warm and safe this winter while he sleeps. Read a little more about HALO products below and order one for your little one HERE.

February 5, 2015 at 7:12 amI love that it has an invert zipper. I worry all the time about the zipper poking my baby girl in the chin or even pinching her, even with the little cloth piece that buttons over the zipper. Not only would the invert zipper prevent the chin pokes or pinches but if your baby ends up having to use a bili blanket the halo sleep sac would be a perfect item to keep baby warm and comfort while connected to the blanket.
