With Spring Break and a family road trip coming up in just a few weeks, I’m on a mission to give our iPad app library an overhaul! With all three kids sharing the iPad and often times playing at the same time, I need to find apps that bridge the gap (learning and interest) between my youngest (4) and my oldest (9). It’s amazing how big those gaps can be!
One of their new favorites is the recently released Disney Creativity Studio 2!
Of course all three of my kids are Disney lovers so I figured this app would be a hit across the board! And it is!!!
Disney Creativity Studio 2 features coloring pages for Big Hero 6, Palace Pets, Cars, and Frozen. But this is coloring taken to a whole new level!
The different combinations of tools allow kids to create with a swirling kaleidoscope brush, themed patterns, stickers, glitter, watercolors and more. They can even use their own photos as backgrounds on the pictures!! What kid wouldn’t love to see Lightning McQueen driving across their lawn or Olaf sitting on their dining room table!
Personalize their creation with a fun message and share with friends and family.
Kids can also create their very own masterpiece from scratch — something my 9 year old budding artist really loves!
The download of the app is free and comes with a few coloring pages and tools. But be advised that the app contains quite a few in-app purchases. For example, extra tools range from $0.99 – $1.99 and each themed “pack” is $3.99. Or you can purchase all 4 Coloring Packs with all the tools for $9.99.
But here’s the coolest part :: Disney has also released a special edition Mickey Mouse stylus pen for Creativity Studio 2. Now, by no means do you need the stylus to use the app but it will make it a little more fun 😉 And, when you purchase the Mickey Mouse stylus, you will also get the complete Creativity Studio 2 app.
You can find the Disney Creativity Studio 2 app for iPad and iPhone and the Mickey Mouse stylus pen in the iTunes app store just in time for those Spring Break trips to Disney!
