While I’m desperately waiting for it to be warm enough that I can open all my windows and allow the fabulous smells of Spring to fill my house, I’ve been searching for some fun ‘scent alternatives’. Of course it always leads me to candles because we love candles in our house.
That warm soft, flickering glow from the mantle mixed with the perfect amount of scent drifting through the house. I could honestly fill my house with candles and light them every day!
The problem is always the same with candles — after a little while of burning, the center of the candle melts down so much but leaves the exterior of the candle getting soft and either collapsing in on the center or melting away and leaving a hole for the melted wax to escape onto your table or mantle or worse. Then I find myself throwing away a candle that looks like it was only half used. Been there?
That’s why I became completely intrigued with Spiral Light Candles.
The Spiral Light Candles, although they look like your traditional candles, are really a two step candle. First, you light the wick found on the top rim of the candle. Yes, this felt completely odd to me, too, because you don’t often find a wick on the rim of the candle! But that’s what makes Spiral Light Candles so unique!
The wick on the rim burns in a spiral motion around the top of the candle, slowly burning down and allowing the melted wax to pool inside the middle of the candle. Then, once it gets to a certain point, the spiral light candle self extinguishes and you light the center wick (step 2).
No more collapsing candle sides or wax running down the outside of the candle. No more tossing out half used candles. They utilize nearly the entire candle!
Spiral Light Candles come in three different sizes — 4x6in, 4x4in, and 3x3in — and a wide array of scents. They even make it easy on you by creating different collections, whether you’re shopping by season or color. Looking for a Spring or Summer scent? No worries! They have an entire Spring & Summer Collection to shop from, including Sara’s Lily, Peach Nectar, and Jasmine.
I absolutely love the fresh scents the Spiral Light Candles offer as they fill my house this Spring! And cannot wait to try out more scents throughout the year!!
